Grid 2 surprised me. I was going through the motions, getting used to the cars and their handling, when suddenly something happened. I started having fun.

Undead Lab's zombie-infested action title has finally hit XBLA. Is it worth a few of your precious Microsoft Points, or should you whack it over the head with a two-by-four and continue on your merry way?

E3: PC or rather about the lack of it
By Starling

E3 2013 has been very silent for me. There's tons of media, but most of it buzzes past my ears without them catching the important keyword that my ears are fine tuned to receive: "PC" or "Personal Computer". Microsoft, Sony, EA and Ubisoft have all shown their cards...

DAILY MANIFESTO

Go To PAX Prime with GameRevolution

Posted on Thursday, July 7 @ 14:32:22 Eastern by

PAX Prime is one of the biggest gaming conventions around, but GameRevolution and Alienware saw fit to send me all by myself. What the f*** is that? I can't handle it by myself! They're crazy! I'm going to blow the whole thing! THIS IS TOO MUCH PRESSURE!!!

Wha-... what's that? Oh, okay.

Fortunately, the management and our Alienware sponsors have seen fit to reopen our ULTIMATE EXPERIENCE CONTEST. That's right. If you missed out on E3 2011, you can spend PAX Prime 2011 with GameRevolution instead!

Accompany me to PAX Prime 2011 with a three-day pass to the event, hotel accomodations.... oh and bring a friend while you're at it. This is my first PAX Prime, so I'll need all the help I can get. Remember, if you're new to GameRevolution, go to the forums and give us a reason to get excited about you.

It doesn't help that I'm so shy....

Too bad I start college the following week.... on the upside, it's only like an hour from where I live, so, it'd be really cheap to get me there.

Well I went to enter and it asked me for the state that I live in, but I don't live in a state...Unless you will accept a state of perpetual boredom and restlessness. Otherwise I live in a province.

[Sorry for the weird post, but it doesn't say I can reply to your comment]

Thanks Ugh, I tried looking at the rules but they wouldn't come up in Opera or IE, (I tried using firefox too, but that refused to start...)

NO! Why do you think we have the 14 foot high electric fence and nuclear powered flamethrowers on the border.

Damn, it says they're out of badges on the PAX site but I'd still be interested if I was lucky enough. I think the ITT tech up in Seattle offers a Bachelors of Science in game and design that I'm curious about, but I'm still trying to figure out who has the most credible degree program. Any input from you guys about that?

Depends on how far you're willing to travel. Shawnee State University (my previous college) in Portsmouth, OH is a small state college that offers a Bachelor's program that I hear is pretty top-notch. They are one of only a handful of schools in the entire country with a full mo-cap/green screen studio. A friend of mine started in the program about a year ago and absolutely loves it.
