GameRevolution's Game of the Year awards will start soon, but it's time to let us know exactly which game is the community's number 1 choice this year. To that end, let's start the tournament early! 16 of your nominations have been chosen. 8 of them will face off today and the second group will face off in the next few days. This is a single elimination, bracket style tournament. Here's your first group of contenders. Vote for one in each pair in the comments below.

    I didn't like any of those games up there other than Hotline Miami, and isn't Civ V Gods & Kings a DLC
