Hello people I know and people I do not know, people with whom I have interacted at some point and people who happen to be here for a random reason involving boredom.  I have gathered you here so I can say one thing to your face before (some of…? Anyone hopefully?) you figure it...

GR Game Diary - January 27th, 2011

Posted on Thursday, January 27 @ 13:24:05 Eastern by
Wow, the past 24 hours have been crazy! If you didn't know, this little piece of hardware called the NGP was detailed by Sony. Lots of stuff happening there. But I have to admit I'm a little annoyed by the way platform holders are going about this.

First, you have to announce the hardware. Then you have to announce the specs. Then you announce the price. Then the release date. Don't forget about announcements of when announcements will happen. Not unlike a countdown clock to a countdown clock.

Another thing you might not have known: GR had another community playdate last night! Woo!

Community members LinksOcarina, Green_Lantern, and used44 all hopped into Red Dead Redemption with me on Xbox Live. While I hate to toot my own horn, I do have to say that I hit a couple of long kill streaks and we all racked up some hard-fought wins.

Yes, there was also knife fighting!

That said, this game diary was recorded earlier in the day yesterday, so you can ignore the invite I sent out to all of you at the end. I promise I'll try to be more prompt next time!
