GR Game Diary 05/02/2011

I've been playing Gears of War 3 multiplayer for three weeks now. You'd think I'd be better at the damn game. I recorded this gameplay over the weekend. Some of the stuff you have to do to unlock characters or weapon skins is a real grind.

You'll see the new Team Deathmatch game mode above. Each team is given a total of 20 lives. The first team to wipe out their opponents wins. This is the first of three maps available to beta players. Oldtown is circular with weapon spawns on each side and a crowded marketplace in the middle.

You'll see me charging with my Retro Lancer from time to time. Hitting an opponent will impale them on the Retro Lancer's bayonet. You can see that in action at about the 2 minute mark. You'll also see me get owned on a number of occasions. Stay tuned tomorrow and Wednesday for King of the Hill on Checkout and Capture the Leader on Trenches.

LOL, it was fun playing with you and your buddy because we won pretty much every time but I recorded al of this over the weekend. Maybe I'll get my video capture set up again.
