GR Release Round-Up 03/06/2011

Chances are, you probably already know about a pair of games that released this week, especially if you're me in sixth grade. Pokemon Black and White have hit the United States and a fever is rising.

I haven't completed a Pokedex, much less beaten 8 gym leaders since Pokemon Red and Blue on the Game Boy. I tried to get into Pearl, but couldn't muster the courage to catch like a million billion Pokemans. There were too many to handle! That's why I'm mildly interested in Black and White. I guess the full Pokedex isn't available for catching until you've already caught the new set in Black and White. While I mull this over with my eleven-year-old self, check out what else will be on store shelves this week:
  • Yoostar 2 (Xbox 360 Kinect, PS3) - March 8th, 2011
Crazy! How did I write that entire preamble without mentioning the pair of MLB games? I guess I've lost it.

OK, Dragon Age II is in there as well. I was tempted to leave it off the list entirely but I can't imagine the screams of terror LinksOcarina would let out if I hadn't. Yes, the sequel to Bioware's fantasy game is coming on Tuesday and I'm sure you just can't wait! If you didn't try to the demo you should know that it ain't half bad. If you're undecided you can always hop on to your platform of choice and download it before Tuesday. I'm saving up for furniture, so I probably won't be playing DA II come Tuesday. I may be mixing in some Torchlight though.

What'll you be picking up this week?

Demo? Why play the demo of a game I pre-ordered 3 months ago?
