GR Release Round-Up 04/10/2011

Posted on Sunday, April 10 @ 15:12:18 Eastern by

The Release Round-Up took a day off last week because there were some pretty slim pickings. This week isn't all that different. There are a few titles worth noticing but there are some heavy hitters landing next week. Before we start pining for April 19th, let's take a look at what's on the way to store shelves this week.
  • Rio (Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, DS) - April 12th, 2011
Easily the most intriguing release of the week is Magicka: Vietnam, a game that throws wizards and iconic Vietnam images together just for fun. That parody will surely be more fun than movie-tie-in Rio or the late Michael Jackson... Experience game.

You know it must have been a year or so ago that I was playing How To Train Your Dragon on the Xbox 360. Someone has to review those games, right? How else would you dear readers know not to spend money on that stuff? Besides, what else would interns be good for?

Anyone buying anything this week before Portal 2, Mortal Kombat, and SOCOM 4 lands next week?
