GR Release Round-Up 05/08/2011

Today is Mother's Day! So what is it you find yourself thinking about? What are you spending your day doing? Video games of course! I talked to my mom this morning. Did you treat your mom special today? If you did, you'll feel much less guilty spending money on your hobby this week. Here's what's on deck:
  • MDK 2 (Wii) - May 9th, 2011
  • Brink (Xbox 360, PS3, PC) - May 10th, 2011
I've been playing Brink all weekend, but you'll have to wait until Tuesday for Game Revolution's review. With that and maybe the possibilty of Bangai-O HD: Missile Fury from last week, I'm more than covered with gaming. Anyone picking up the alternative universe Assassin's Creed? The First Templar seems a little too obvious. If you're looking for something off-the-radar, I highly recommend checking out Gatling Gears this week.

That game comes from the same team behind Greed Corp, a title from a few months back that is about as hardcore as you can get when it comes to turn-based strategy. If you're not interested in that, what's caught your eye in the coming week? You've got to have something to tide you over until L.A. Noire.

Gotta love that hype that Xbox has been giving The First Templar.
