GR Release Round-Up 07/17/2011

A quick shout-out to Jessica_Vazquez who's been editing the Release Round-Up videos despite my absence over the past week. Check out her work above while I throw together the list of games heading to retailers.... um... TODAY.
  • Bastion (Xbox 360) - July 20th, 2011
Since I've been playing a lot of Fallout: New Vegas lately, I might drop some digital cash on Old World Blues this week. DLC is always best when incorporated in a full playthrough. Anyone else been unsatisfied by Mass Effect 2's DLC after-the-fact?

I can also attest to Bastion's worthiness this week. The action RPG from Supergiant Games comes as part of the Summer of Arcade. I had a chance to play around with the title at E3 and will definitely be putting money into my virtual wallet for that XBLA. What are you buying this week (other than a movie ticket to see Captain America)?

I agree about the Mass Effect 2 DLC. They only had one solid expansion for the game. Still didn't stop me from getting them all . . .

I thought the mass effect 2 DLC added to the game. But I also had it all on my first play through, and as you noted Daniel, that probably helped. That's basically the reason I've held off on going an further in New Vegas. I've been waiting for all the DLC to come out.
