Grid 2 surprised me. I was going through the motions, getting used to the cars and their handling, when suddenly something happened. I started having fun.

State of Decay Review
Undead Lab's zombie-infested action title has finally hit XBLA. Is it worth a few of your precious Microsoft Points, or should you whack it over the head with a two-by-four and continue on your merry way?

E3: PC or rather about the lack of it
By Starling

E3 2013 has been very silent for me. There's tons of media, but most of it buzzes past my ears without them catching the important keyword that my ears are fine tuned to receive: "PC" or "Personal Computer". Microsoft, Sony, EA and Ubisoft have all shown their cards...

GR Release Round-Up

A full week of releases and nothing is slowing down. If you were finished with New Vegas by now... what are you crazy? Did you play 7 days straight? At least you're ready for Fable III and more.

More and more games are coming into the office. I'm reviewing Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 AND EA Sports MMA this week. My testosterone will barely be able to take that action. I have to be honest with you. I need help! Has anyone picked up either of those games? Maybe we can play some multiplayer together. Call it practice. You'll turn my ass to hamburger in MMA, I assure you. Maybe we do some of that this weekend while we wait for next week's releases.
That's quite the Tuesday! I used to work at Best Buy a couple of years ago. I was at the register most Monday nights before I transferred to security. Monday nights were actually pretty fun. If you weren't doing inventory in the warehouse, Monday was the earliest you'd see those freshly cellophaned DVDs and video games.

That being said, Tuesdays during the holidays were hell. There was just too much to stock, and new games always meant you had to push old games down or stock them under shelves. That was a pain in the ass.

When all is said and done, GR's pick of the week is Rock Band 3. Last weekend there was a party in the office and Rock Band 3's keys got quite a work out. Blake is on the review, Nick I've kept myself from playing the new peripheral. I want my experience to be fresh and exciting when I... Aw, dammit, I'm not going to be able to play the keyboard at all until my girlfriend is done with it. It will finally give me a chance to play the drums more often though!

What will you be picking up in the next 7 days? Anything from previous weeks?

Well, not RockBand, anyway. After the first Guitar Hero and Rock Band games came out, all they did was make the same thing over and over again, with some new songs. And they're never the songs I wanna play, whereas I can play whatever the hell I want to on my real guitar.

The new Borderlands DLC on the other hand... Thats something worth becoming addicted to.
