I somehow managed to skip Haiku Fridays last week. I figured you guys would probably need a week off. It turns out I was completely wrong. A note for the future: if there's no Haiku Fridays post, you won't win anything for posting haiku all on your own!

That said, we worked up a pretty sweet contest to make it up for you this week. Instead of just one winner, we're giving three haiku craftsmen each a copy of Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon. Why three? Because EDF: Insect Armageddon offers up three-player online bug-stomping! You'll have to exchange Xbox Live gamertags after you win!


I for one, welcome our new insect overlords. You might not be so friendly. Write a haiku about insects in the comments below and win one of three copies of Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon for the Xbox 360! Get going! Winners will be announced Monday in The News!
