Finally Broke My Crowdfunding Rule
By oblivion437
Posted on 01/12/15
I've had a long-standing rule to avoid getting involved in any sort of crowdfunded activities.  I didn't donate to Shadowrun or Wasteland, but I did buy and enjoy both of them (I'm plugging both of those games right now, just so you know they're good).  I haven't...

Haiku Fridays: Mortal Kombat Mystery

Posted on Friday, July 15 @ 12:34:48 Eastern by

If you've been following my posts here on GameRevolution, you'd know that a large percent of them are on Mortal Kombat. In fact, our Mortal Kombat tag page is filled almost entirely by me.

I've easily spent thousands of dollars playing the franchise at the arcade, buying multiple console and handheld versions of each installment, and random other Mortal Kombat related expenses. So this week's Haiku Friday is in large part for my own enjoyment (of course, you may win something, so win-win).

If you watched the Rain Character Vignette video I posted earlier (see, I always post about MK), or any of the recent videos, then you may have noticed that there is an unknown DLC character coming after Rain.

That means that today's Haiku mystery ingredient is... the unknown Mortal Kombat DLC character. Write your best Haiku guessing which character it is going to be. Whoever is correct with their "Guess Who Haiku", will get a $20 value card of their choice (PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, 3DS, etc).

There are a few catches... if nobody guesses it right (or if more than one person guess the same character correctly), I'll go random select and the winner will be whomever I land on. The other catch, is that I'm writing a Haiku, too! Yep, that's right, you're going to be competing against me and if I win, I will perform a very gruesome fatality on UghRochester.

Mwuah hah haaa! You weak, pathetic fools.
