After all these years, and growing up with Windows 3.1, I have seen an entire evolution of computers and software. Touch screens and large resolutions were a pipe dream just 15 years ago. Now it's the norm. Going from a Packard Bell (yes, before HP) that couldn't run 3D Ultra Mini...

Haiku Fridays: One Piece Unlimited World Red [Winners!]

Posted on Tuesday, July 29 @ 15:00:00 PST by

[Update] And the winners are... Noritama, SpitefulSerpent5, and kalvinandhobbes8! You have until Thursday, 12:00pm PST to send me your name and address to me as a private message here (click that envelope icon in the upper right-hand corner) or to my email address, After that time, I will choose new winners for those who didn't respond.

[Original] Maybe you're saying something like "Bah! A One Piece game. Whatever..." But wait a second with your judgments (how rude), our reviewer Kevin Schaller thought the same thing when I assigned him the game, but then came back with a solid 4 out of 5! Yes, One Piece is surprisingly one of the best properties that Bandai Namco has at the moment.

So we've got three copies of the retail PS3 version of the Day One version (even if it's like Day Sixteen at this point) of One Piece: Unlimited World Red.

All you need to do to score one of the copies is to write a haiku about One Piece: Unlimited World Red and post it in the comments. For those who don't know what a haiku is, it's a short three-line poem where the first line is five syllables, the second line is seven, and the third line is five again. Make sure you check your syllables or you might not get the prize.

You must have an address in the United States to win a copy of the game. The winner will be chosen on Tuesday at 12:00pm PST. We'll alert you here and by PM if you've won, and you'll have 48 hours to respond back with an address before we choose a new winner. We'll be shipping the copies to you straight from our secret warehouse on our pirate ship.
