Grid 2 surprised me. I was going through the motions, getting used to the cars and their handling, when suddenly something happened. I started having fun.

State of Decay Review
Undead Lab's zombie-infested action title has finally hit XBLA. Is it worth a few of your precious Microsoft Points, or should you whack it over the head with a two-by-four and continue on your merry way?

If Nintendo can't develop games made especially for the Wii U GamePad, then no one will be able to.

E3: PC or rather about the lack of it

E3 2013 has been very silent for me. There's tons of media, but most of it buzzes past my ears without them catching the important keyword that my ears are fine tuned to receive: "PC" or "Personal Computer". Microsoft, Sony, EA and Ubisoft have all shown their cards...

DAILY MANIFESTO

Happy Birthday PS2!

Posted on Tuesday, October 26 @ 11:25:09 Eastern by
Today marks the 10-year anniversary of the PlayStation 2 here in the United States.

The PS2 ushered in many of today's most popular franchises, helped fuel the inception of the DVD format, and went on to sell more units than any other console in existence. More than half a billion software units have been sold in the US alone throughout its massive 2000+ game library.

To prove the decade old console is still kicking, SCEA today announced a new Limited-Edition Toy Story 3: The Video Game PS2 bundle which will be available at retailers beginning on October 31, 2010 for the value price of $99.

Be sure to share your favorite PS2 memories with us in the comments below.

Sad that it continued it's existence this far into its sucessor's reign. Do you think they'll still make PS2 games when the PS4 is out?

There are still a lot of PS2 games that I'd rather play than today's games.

I got my first PS2 in 2002-03 so I was always buying the $29.99 hits games. Never bought any at full price except for NHL2003. So it was a bargain compared to the money I shell out now for current gen games.

I remember my parents telling me if I babysit my sisters for a whole summer they'd buy me one two weeks before the next school year started. This was back in 2002. For some reason my dad bought a used one thinking he'd save $100, when in fact, the price just dropped to $200 then and he only saved $20, but he wouldn't believe anyone. Then he forced me to buy a PS1 game, and I had to go borrow PS2 games from the neighborhood kids.

My PS2 is still hooked up, and I play it all the time. In fact, I'm going to go play it now.

I still have a PS2, and still buy PS2 games, but I've been playing them on my PS3. Recently picked up Capcom Classics vol.2, which is awesome.

Played through MGS2 back to back. Tekken Tag Bowling. Network Adapters. And oh so many hours burning my eyes.
