Finally Broke My Crowdfunding Rule
By oblivion437

Happy Day of the Ninja

Posted on Wednesday, December 5 @ 20:31:36 Eastern by Duke_Ferris
My mailbox was flooded today with ninja-related items, and some very bitter, depressed pirates. Hey, you guys have Talk Like a Pirate Day.

Yes indeed, turns out there actually is an official Day of the Ninja. And our own resident ninja, Nick Tan was sent off on a daring mission.

By an unusual coincidence, there is also a Guitar Hero III contest today at the Hot Topic store in San Francisco not too far from here.

I may have mentioned before that Nick is very, very good at Guitar Hero. For backup, he also brought GR writer Jesse Costantino who is not a ninja, but who is also very good. I imagine they will rock exceedingly hard.

The winner goes to the finals in Los Angeles, and the winner there will perform on Jimmy Kimmel. If he ever gets his writers back anyway.

Full report and pictures tomorrow. With any luck, GR might get a chance to flip out and kill people on TV.
