Happy New Year!

Well midnight has already passed for some of you, and it's coming up for others, so I'm just picking a random time to shout "Yay!". Also that means I can start drinking.

If you need a reason to celebrate, I've got one. One for me anyway. As you may recall, there was a burglary at GR recently, and the criminal masterminds tossed our 56" HDTV out the window onto a hapless Toyota.  

Toshiba support assured me it would be unrepairable, but little do they know what nearly-indestructable products they make.

As you can see from the photos below, I removed the broken bits on the inside, replaced them with non-broken bits, and viola! good as new.
 

 

 

 
I'll drink to that. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!
