How Does Your 3DS Activity Measure Up Against Nintendo President Reggie Fils-Aime?
Posted on Friday, October 25 @ 15:00:00 Eastern by Daniel BischoffReggie Fils-Aime, Nintendo of America President and COO, took to the company's Twitter account this morning and put every other 3DS gamer out there on point: you'll be hard pressed to out-game the Regginator.
Or, at least, you'll have a hard time comparing Animal Crossing: New Leaf towns or out maneuvering Reggie in New Super Mario Bros. 2. Every 3DS unit tracks both the steps you take with it outside and the hours you've put into your favorite games.
Reggie's picture shows that he's played a lot of Animal Crossing: New Leaf (and you should too, review here), a lot of StreetPass games, an unhealthy amount of New Super Mario Bros 2, and 44 hours of Nintendo eShop browsing.
For comparison's sake, here's my software activity log organized by playtime. I've got 224 hours in Animal Crossing: New Leaf (and Reggie's only got me beat by getting the game almost a full month ahead of me, even if I had the game a full month ahead of everyone else). I've also played almost 100 hours of Fire Emblem: Awakening and 50 hours in Shin Megami Tensei IV. Below that is 35 hours in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D. Obviously, with RPG dynamos like Fire Emblem and SMT, it's not hard to reach a high hour count, but I'm no where near Reggie in Streetpass usage.
Something tells me the streetpassing in Nintendo's headquarters makes it hard to get any work done at all. I don't get nearly as many 3DS-to-3DS tags so I've only sunk 26 hours into Nintendo's social games.
What's your activity log show? Do you have the gamer cred it takes to measure up against Reggie? Let us know in the comments.
