If Pokémon Was Announced For Wii U

Posted on Friday, June 15 @ 16:53:50 Eastern by
Would you buy the Wii U at launch if Nintendo released this version of Pokémon? Not sure about the whole Dark Souls multiplayer thing, though... let's just hope there aren't any Friend Codes first.

Yes... yes I would. But please Nintendo (if something like this ever comes to fruition) keep it to the original 151.

What about getting the Pokemon that you would normally get at each respective location... I think that would be better

I could never see this happening, as much as everyone wants it to happen though. Also, I am sure the friend code things are taking a nod from the 3DS one; one friend code per player instead of per game.

Pokemon is a little after my time, so I've never played it (ccg, video game, or otherwise) nor do I really understand what it is or why it is so popular. So no, it doesn't appeal to me.

As someone that has never been interested in anything involving chinpokomon, I would not be moved to purchase a Wii U if it were available.

The very idea of pokemon has never appealed to me. So no, I wouldn't get this. But I'll almost certainly be getting a WiiU regardless.

If they did the pokemon count would always be increased, but this would make a **** ton of money for Nintendo. Done properly and breaking away from the gameboy visuals and taking some inspiration from other games to utilize open expansive worlds and the use of that viewscreen controller this would be big. Also if their online service got involved they could easily keep it a bit fresher than a new version with a different color name every year or so.
