inFamous 2 to Shock Store Shelves This Summer

Posted on Friday, February 18 @ 09:23:11 PST by

inFamous 2, the sequel to 2009's PS3 exclusive motion-comic stylized, open-world action game was announced right before last year's E3. Not even a year later, a release date has been announced and in standard Sony style (no, not the store), there will be a more expensive special edition launching alongside the regular game.

On June 7th, inFamous 2 will hit store shelves, putting a little pep in the usual Summer video game drought. On top of a normal retail release, the game will also come in a Hero Edition flavor. The Hero Edition will include a DC Comics inFamous 2 mini-comic, a Cole MacGrath (main character) statue, a "sling pack", soundtrack and vouchers to download exclusive content.
