iPad 2 Announcement Set for March 2

On a yearly basis, the Job-sian neophytes and grandmasters alike gather to accept the latest decrees of faith into their lives. LIke Moses coming down the mountain, Apple imagineers take the stage to the cheers and applause of thousands.

We're talking about new Apple hardware in case you were wondering.

The Cupertino based company has sent out invitations to the tech-loving press for an event they're hosting in my old stomping grounds, San Jose CA, on March 2nd. With the iPad being such a huge success, you just know they're going to come out with a massive upgrade to everyone's favorite tablet.

Consequently, the event also lines up with the Game Developers Conference, the first shot in the year's big gaming conferences. Will Apple have some focus on gaming with the iPad 2?
