Kid Gets $90,000 In His PS2

I don't often do the news of the weird stuff, but this one was just too good. From the BBC:

Police are trying to trace the owner of 65,400 euros (£44,000) mistakenly sent to a 16-year-old boy who bought a Playstation Two for £95 on eBay.

The cash arrived in a box at the house in Aylsham, Norfolk, with the games console, but minus two games.

Police are holding the money under the Proceeds of Crime Act while the matter is investigated.

At first I thought, "Why the hell didn't he keep the cash?" But then I realized that the drug dealer who was too high to realize he was mailing out 65,400 Euros has the kid's name and home address.

I would have turned it over to the cops too. And bought a gun. Anybody ever see the movie Shallow Grave? Yikes.
