State of Decay Review
Undead Lab's zombie-infested action title has finally hit XBLA. Is it worth a few of your precious Microsoft Points, or should you whack it over the head with a two-by-four and continue on your merry way?

Kinect Price Inflated on Ebay Despite Ample Stock at Retail

Posted on Tuesday, November 9 @ 11:43:06 Eastern by
Kinect is well stocked at retail, but still fetching inflated prices on Ebay.

In this prime example of how smart marketing and hype can cause a false sense of short supply and overly strong demand, the Xbox 360's Kinect motion-sensor is being sold for as much as a 30% premium over retail prices on Ebay.

Lazard Capital Markets surveyed completed Kinect transactions on Ebay, finding the average sold price of Kinect to be roughly $190. While this isn't as much as other video game hardware launches have fetched in previous holiday seasons, it is a strong indicator that Kinect will have a very merry Christmas sales-wise.

Shortly before Kinect's November 4th launch, Microsoft raised estimated sales figures to 5 million units sold. If the current trends are anything to go by, Microsoft shouldn't have any trouble hitting those goals.

With Black Friday just a couple weeks away, these prices on Ebay are sure to continue to climb.
