Kojima's Metal Business Cards Reflect His Awesomeness

Posted on Thursday, December 8 @ 00:41:18 Eastern by Heath_Hindman

Hideo Kojima is one of very few people in history to be recognized as FACTUALLY bad ass, and that honor came even before his new business cards arrived in the mail. Yes, those are just as metallic as they look. What a guy. I think I want my business cards to be ripped up auto parts. How cool would that be to like, hand someone a radiator hose that said "Heath: Good At Stuff" on it?

"Can I get your address?"
"Why, yes I carry it around on this Carburetor."

Alas, that would be difficult to carry around and I am definitely not manly enough to handle that task. We can't all be as great as Kojima.

He can have what ever type of business card he wants; as long as his next game has shorter/less cut scenes. I don't mind the message as long as its short and sweet, even great food loses its flavor if over indulged.

Oh Hideo, how I envy thee... it would take some serious capitol to print your business cards on sheet metal. Don't change the cutscenes. Hideo mastered what Naughty Dawg is now doing with the Uncharted series way back with MSG1. Master Kojima I humbly bow to you and your laser-cut business cards.

-My one qualm is that you cannot rip a piece off of that business card and make a crutch out of it...

Hideo did no such thing, and he's gotten worse as he ages. I couldn't even be arsed to finish MGS4. I couldn't take having his "story" bashing me in the head anymore. That man is in desperate need of an editor.

There's no rule stating what the game to cut scene ratio should be. Some of us like the copious amount of cut scenes in Metal Gear (Though I do admit copious is an appropriate word).

I agree with you Turin. I loved MGS4. I beat it over 5 times and have almost beat it to get the Big Boss Emblem. But like what takes to get the Big Boss Emblems, I skipped every cut scene since the first play through (after you first meet Drebin is where I lost interest.) The gameplay is amazing. The message is always thought provoking. But dont use 7 words when 4 will do (more like dont use 100+ cut scenes when 30 would do)
