Konami Turns Professor Layton Into Action Adventure

Posted on Friday, December 17 @ 13:10:37 Eastern by

Konami's Doctor Lautrec and the Forgotten Knights curiously looks a lot like some other game starring a guy in a top hat who loves solving mysteries. As a free hint, Doctor Lautrec also has a young assistant, named Miss Sophie Coubertin who is a student at the University of Paris. Like some other boy assistant. Hmm... this puzzle is worth zero picarats.

Surprisingly, this upcoming adventure title looks more like an RPG where the player has full control over the doctor in 3D environments. But let's not forget that Professor Layton has an RPG of his own. Whatever or not this is a case of flattery, that's the only thing preventing this game from being a complete rip-off.
