The only thing that stops the dust is the rain. It’s a sweet reprieve, but there is no middle ground. The land is either as dry as the Betty Ford clinic, or as wet as the ocean floor. Everything can be seen from the ridge overlooking Armadillo as John Marston gently bounces along atop...

DAILY MANIFESTO

Largest Corporate Backstab Ever

Enron? Madoff? WorldCom? Nope. It's Black Nova Corp. Never heard of them? They were the head of the Band of Brothers alliance (BoB) and one of their company directors looted billions, caused possibly trillions in damages, destroyed alliance defenses, killed their sovereignty and even stole their name.

Yet more proof that EVE Online is the greatest MMORPG ever created.

This dwarfs the destruction of the Ubiqua Seraph corporation by the mercenaries of the Guiding Hand Social Club. This is far more devastating than the ponzi scheme that was the Eve Intergalactic Bank.

Black Nova Corp director, Haargoth, worked surrupticiously with Mittani of GoonFleet, one of the pre-eminent corps in the GoonSwarm alliance and the amount of destruction that can be caused by one man is astonishing. Converted into what these assets would be worth in online auctions, we're talking tens, possibly hundreds of thousands of dollars. The largest eve ships, Titans, can be worth over $5,000 by themselves.

You can hear Mittani's account of the operation here. The image below shows the region of space lost by BoB, before and after, and the already-starting land rush. Each dot represents a solar system.
