LATEST FEATURES Being A Console Is Actually Xbox One's Worst Asset
Microsoft's newest console has lots of different features, but video games might hold the device back from the software giant's true intentions.

Everything I Learned About Call of Duty: Ghosts Last Week
I wasn't allowed to talk about the new Infinity Ward game last week when I met with Activision, and I don't have much to say now that Xbox One spilled the beans.

Mailbag... Mailbag Has Changed

Posted on Wednesday, May 16 @ 11:29:46 Eastern by

One time I wrote a letter to Jiffy Pop saying how their product sucked because everytime I made it the popcorn ended up burned. In response they sent me a book of coupons for free Jiffy Pop.

I'm not saying that's what'll happen if you write into the GR Mailbag. We don't take criticism too well. But hey, anything is possible! Also, remember 213EDD's question from last week. Which would Anthony, Nick, and I kill, f***, and marry in regards to the next-gen consoles?

Or write well either, it seems.

Your product sucks because every time I go to GR to write a comment and my comment gets flamed. I demand a book of coupons for free Game Revolution.

What's the most "morally questionable" act you would commit in order to get a Wii U into the GR compound before anyone else?
PS: if you answer "sleeping with someone" you gotta say who you would sleep with.

Anthony would definitely hate-Fuck the Xbox, marry the Playstation, and kill the WiiU.
Dan would Fuck the PS4 for its exclusives, marry the Xbox for its great network features, and kill the WiiU in a fire.
Nick would Fuck the WiiU for its weirdo Japanese RPGs, and then enter into a strange three-way marriage with the next gen Xbox and Playstation, sleeping in a different bedroom each night.

Does this mean I can get coupons to free snarky responses?

Anyway, real question. Which genre of games that you play often would you be willing to give up forever?

If you have to utilize mandatory online service to play a single player game then how well do you think blizzard handled the diablo 3 launch and server overload? Saw a lot of people had taken time off work only to spend most of it repeatedly dealing with error messages. Thought this kind of sucks and don't use the argument that the first 48 hours are always like this as once again the emphasis is on just starting the single player campaign. Miss the days of offline single player?

Could they have met in the grey area and not require mandatory online at launch and then requiring shortly there after via a patch. May have gave them time to get there **** together without wasting peoples time?

Anthony, have you ever thought of doing a massive, best of tablet games segment? Since it seems that's all you play lately...casual.

Legit question - What's the most you've given up to play video games?

For example, an acquaintance of mine bailed on a date with a gorgeous girl to play Mario Party. They did not go out again.

You are being forced to choose one or the other for the next ten years:

a current top o' the line PC

a next gen console of your choice with whatever peripherals they decide to throw at you.

Which do you pick considering that you will not be able to upgrade the pc, only repair, and the console will be the ONLY one you can play (including those idiotic phone games that casuals fawn over, Dan ).

Remember PC's now have Intel's Ivy Bridge 3D super chip, not some low power older chip like in a console will have. So a top of the line PC will eat a next gen console for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

And six months later something better will come out and it'll need to be upgraded to play the newest games. That's really my only beef with PC gaming; the Xbox 360 I bought in 2005 will be able to play the same games as a 360 built in 2013. Not many PC's can make the same claim. You have to spend sometimes hundreds of dollars to make your hardware compatible with the latest software every year. With consoles you only have to upgrade like once a decade.

Flame if you want, but I'm not bashing PC gaming. If it wasn't so damn expensive, I'd probably do a considerable amount more of it.

Remember he said top of the line PC because PC's can do way more than just game. And they are claiming no one can touch the Ivy Bridge 3D super chip for 2 years or more.
