Mainstream Media Ignoring SOPA

Posted on Wednesday, January 18 @ 14:18:02 Eastern by

Media Matters for America released the above graph of how often MSNBC, Fox News, ABC, CBS, NBC, and CNN devoted their precious time to cover SOPA between October 26, 2011 through January 22, 2012. That's what the people need to be informed about...

So either mainstream media is extremely slow to pick up on things (definitely possible), they're being paid not to cover it or to cover it once and then slip it under the radar (also possible), or they've been waiting for something big to happen like today's SOPA Blackout on the internet to give a hoot about it (probably).

But Kate Middleton refused to eat "peanut paste"! Does that mean there's a baby on the way? OMG! Who cares about that SOUP thing, anyway?
