Mario Puts On A Show In MLS Seats During Match

Something interesting happened during a soccer game! Stop the presses!



I guess these things are called "tifos," which has got to mean "when soccer fans inevitably get bored." Outside of Korea and cartoon gags, I've never seen one in real life, but through the magic of youtube the GR video player, you can see Mario shoot a fireball at a koopa (something only a privileged few have witnessed)! Don't ask me what's happening in the rest of the video. Spoiler Alert: I don't know and I don't care. It's Mario!

 


And just because you all are such smart, good-humored readers, here's a bonus clip I can't help but think of anytime someone brings up soccer to me. "Now, now. There's plenty of exits for everyone!"



For the record, don't hate me. Soccer (and admittedly, sports in general) just isn't my thing. Please defend your beloved past time blindly in the comments section below and feel free to slam me and my opinion.

    Well, they've shown that they can get everyone in a section of seats to cooperate, but creativity? I see none.

    Seemed like a lot of effort for a not very impressive result... just like soccer.
