Microsoft's newest console has lots of different features, but video games might hold the device back from the software giant's true intentions.
Before Microsoft and Sony do something regarding their future in the video game business, I wanted to write, and I've wanted it for a long time now, but other things kept getting in my way, and fearing that tomorrow might be too late, today will have to do.

Master Chief Vs. Samus In 16 Beautiful Bits
Posted on Tuesday, March 29 @ 09:00:00 Eastern by Daniel Bischoff
I should preface this by saying that the following footage is, in fact, a very beautiful fantasy. There's no way this kind of thing would ever happen but maybe we could at least get those beautiful 16 bit effects in a game on modern consoles. I would love to see these graphics make a come back.
Now for the reality of it all, this video is the worst kind of bull shit you will see all day. There is no way the Master Chief would ever defeat Samus Aran. No way. Chock this up to simply furthering the fantasy.
There is no way that Master Chief would ever actually defeat Samus, but I noticed about halfway into the first round that Master Chief had some hardcore damage reduction that I think the coder threw in because he's a Halo fan. Even Samus's super move didn't really result into much when it was used, but Master Chief's did...
Wow, I'm almost surprised that Card Sagas Wars is STILL in active development. Though considering fan-games like Black Mesa also taking forever, I guess Its not so uncommon.
Yeah pretty sure that Samus was being controlled by an AI, and Chief was actually a player. Don't get me wrong here, I agree that in a realistic (ha) fight, Samus would just overpower Master Chief. But since this is a fighting game, liberties are taken to balance the gameplay, right?
What I'd like to see is this same battle but both characters are player-controlled.
