Garrus was my favorite character from both Mass Effect games, which should shock no one when you look at my little avatar. BioWare seems to love him a little too, and they love him the same way I love things: by making fun of it.

You would think that as much as Garrus likes to tinker with calibrations though, he could have dodged it.

Garrus only had the reach. Someone else had the flexibility.

somethings been bugging me ever since i finished Mass Effect 2... this might be a spoiler, idk, but Garrus died at the end of my game. i didnt want him to. does he die for everyone or did it have to do with the choice of teams i made at the end???

It is possible to save everyone. You just need to fully upgrade your ship and make sure you make the right squad choices during the last mission. It's worth trying another play-through of the finale if you want him in ME3.

I was going to make a comment about how planetary mining absolutely ruins the replayability of that game, but while reminiscing about how I lost Thane on my first try, I was suddenly overcome with an urge to play it again. Also, feelings of self-loathing.

yeah i figured that was the case. i was genuinely sad when that damn swarm came and carried him off. a quiet, whimpering "No!" escaped my mouth.
if only i felt the same about Lydia. ***** has gotten lost somewhere and was carrying some pretty nifty enchanted weapons and armour for me which i was looking forward to selling. come to think of it i probably doused her in flames in some dungeon somewhere... unintentionally, of coarse.
