Want something done right? Take it away from a non-profit and see what the commercial sector comes up with.

In this case, The Timothy Plan. It's a series of investment funds in the category known as "socially responsible" investing. Some care about the environment, some prefer human rights, but in this case it's investing from a Christian perspective.

The Timothy Fund is a mutual fund that will not invest in any company that deals with "abortion, pornography, anti-family entertainment, non-married lifestyles, alcohol, tobacco and gambling" and it just so happens that violent video games are part of "anti-family entertainment".

Don't get me wrong, I think this is nuts, screening games for everything from gambling and drugs to "demonic" content and "comic mischief".

The amazing thing is how well it is done and how accurate it is. Poring through all of Valkyria Chronicles looking for Gay/Lesbian anything, and finding it, and then scoring it a 2 out of 3 for giving your kids teh ghey. Wow.

I may not agree with their batshit lunacy, but I cannot help being impressed by it's depth, and the intense labor that went into this guide.
