Grid 2 surprised me. I was going through the motions, getting used to the cars and their handling, when suddenly something happened. I started having fun.

Undead Lab's zombie-infested action title has finally hit XBLA. Is it worth a few of your precious Microsoft Points, or should you whack it over the head with a two-by-four and continue on your merry way?

E3: PC or rather about the lack of it

E3 2013 has been very silent for me. There's tons of media, but most of it buzzes past my ears without them catching the important keyword that my ears are fine tuned to receive: "PC" or "Personal Computer". Microsoft, Sony, EA and Ubisoft have all shown their cards...

Mortal Kombat Films Coming to Blu-ray with Exclusive Game DLC

Posted on Tuesday, February 8 @ 08:24:09 Eastern by

If you couldn't already tell, I'm a Mortal Kombat nut. With the new Mortal Kombat's release date inching ever closer, nostalgia is in the air. This latest news brings back a lot of memories, some fond, some... not so much.

To bank on the increased interest surrounding the franchise, Warner Home Video has announced that Mortal Kombat and Mortal Kombat: Annihilation will be coming to Blu-ray. Both are set to hit store shelves the same day and date as the upcoming Mortal Kombat game, on April 19th.

While the Mortal Kombat movie wasn't what I'd call a "good" movie, it had enough nods to MK fandom that it was enjoyable. Annihilation on the other hand, was god awful -- I'd rather dive into a spike-filled pit than sit through that movie again.

If you do decide to pick up either of these flicks, each one comes with an exclusive alternate costume for Jade in the upcoming MK game. Which might be the only selling point for Annihilation.

Any fans of these movies out there? Will you be picking them up on Blu-ray? If so, I'll leave you with this little sing-along:

Tempting, but I doubt the conversion will be high enough quality to warrant the purchase.

"A hand full of people on a leaky boat are going to save the world?"

    "Exactly."

I loved the first movie. Second one was balls. No idea why they killed Johnny Cage. And Henry, the conversion might be pretty decent. A lot of older films hold up real well....I just hope they take the time to give it the proper conversion.
