LATEST FEATURES Being A Console Is Actually Xbox One's Worst Asset
Microsoft's newest console has lots of different features, but video games might hold the device back from the software giant's true intentions.

Everything I Learned About Call of Duty: Ghosts Last Week
I wasn't allowed to talk about the new Infinity Ward game last week when I met with Activision, and I don't have much to say now that Xbox One spilled the beans.

MW2 Glitches Even Affect Other Games

Posted on Wednesday, August 11 @ 14:45:15 Eastern by
Modern Warfare 2 glitches continue to rear their ugly heads. This time, Activision's million unit seller even goes so far as to affect games that have literally nothing to do with the first person shooter.  Classic timing too.  Why?  Because the Single-Player demo for MW2 was just released, and this glitch affects that too.

This particular glitch, which allows exploiters to access full SNK games available on the Xbox Live Marketplace without paying for them, is even accessible through the Modern Warfare 2 demo recently released.  Simply load up the game or the demo and hit the Xbox Live guide button.  Select the quick launch menu option and then open up any of the affected games.

The titles affected include Garou: Mark of the Wolves, The King of Fighters '98 Ultimate Match, Metal Slug 3, Metal Slug XX, and Samurai Showdown II.  Get the achievements while you can!

Interesting that, in effect, you are promoting stealing. Aren't we supposed to be supporting developers?

@spanky1113: My understanding is that it has something to do with the fact that when you download a trial XBLA game, you're actually downloading the full game with a small code switch required for the full unlock. Booting the game from within MW2 somehow bypasses the code check.

@Xarathion: Just simple news. I buy and review my fair share of XBLA games. Perhaps by spreading the word I'm actually ensuring that Microsoft/Activision/SNK get around to fixing it fast.
