Grid 2 surprised me. I was going through the motions, getting used to the cars and their handling, when suddenly something happened. I started having fun.

Undead Lab's zombie-infested action title has finally hit XBLA. Is it worth a few of your precious Microsoft Points, or should you whack it over the head with a two-by-four and continue on your merry way?

E3: PC or rather about the lack of it
By Starling

E3 2013 has been very silent for me. There's tons of media, but most of it buzzes past my ears without them catching the important keyword that my ears are fine tuned to receive: "PC" or "Personal Computer". Microsoft, Sony, EA and Ubisoft have all shown their cards...

Replace CTRL with SHIFT and you've got something.

This is kind of on subject. I can't figure out macro's on my Logitech G700 mouse, any suggestions?

Yeah, how did I miss that? I guess maybe I should say I'm not exactly sure what a macro is. All I get is one button for multiple button presses. How exactly is that helpful? I have all my buttons now just linked to numbers, seems to work fine. Although I feel as if I'm missing out somehow.

For me, it was actually video games that taught me how to type as quickly as I do. Teachers at school trying to use little typing exercises to teach us to type never, ever worked, and they about forced us to type 'properly' forcing the home-row, forcing which shift button you press depending which side of the keyboard the letter you need capitalized, etc.

A few years of playing Diablo 2, and Halo online on my PC, and lots of other online gaming after that... I hardly use the home row, I use the left Shift key almost exclusively for my entire keyboard, but look at me. I can type at 85 words per minute.

100% agree. Home row has never been ideal for me, and I'd only do it to appease the teacher's. I use my index finger on my left hand and my middle finger on my right for about 98% of my typing, left pinky for shift. And man, I type fast.

Solid. I rarely make a mistake and if I do, I catch and correct just about immediately.

    ultima online

    taught me how to type

    in small little sections

    so everyone could read

    the chat bubbles

    of what i was saying

    because a big long

    written conversation

    would be completely cut off

and there was no chat window

    other then the bubble

    and it was so annoying

    to have to keep repeating

    myself when i typed in

    very large proper

    chunks of language

so i picked up this really

    bad habit and i never

    would use capital letters

    because it was such

    a pain in the butt

    to always have to cap

    the first letter in every

    single little phrase

    i also never used

    punctuation

I myself have two different typing techniques:
    1) HPC method (Hunt Pick and Cuss)
    2) The Columbus method (seek explore and discover)

Of course I’ve also gotten pretty good at typing with just one hand…

A bit off-topic here, but do you actually live in Columbus?

Which one? Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Minnesota, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Texas, or Wisconsin? Nope don’t live in any of the 17 different U.S. cities named Columbus.
