New Video Game Release Round-Up September 16th, 2012

Posted on Sunday, September 16 @ 18:52:05 Eastern by

This week's big release is none other than.... *drumroll please*... F1 2012! That's right, the long wait is over and F1 2012 is finally coming out. Do you know how long I've had a preorder on this game? SINCE IT STARTED BEING 2012. Oh, there are other games coming out too:
  • F1 2012 (Xbox 360, PS3) - September 18th, 2012
Hmmmm... to Borderlands 2 or not to Borderlands 2? I don't know. I've got a preorder, but... I'm not sure if I should even bother. I have the original but I can't be bothered to play more than an hour of it. It's terrible! This one looks much better and I'd actually be playing when everyone else is so I might get some good co-op out of it. Is anyone else getting Borderlands 2 on the Xbox 360?

Because you have been lied to your whole life. The consoles have developed you into the perfect consumer away from the pc. And because you smell funny.

Torchlight 2 releases on the 20th. Might wanna change it.

Probably for the best. Given those two stellar diablo-ish games, I frankly have no idea what I'd play.

I'll wait a month to get Jet Set Radio on the Vita.
Wasn't a big fan of Borderlands, so I'll sit this one out.
I wish I had a decent PC to play Torchlight 2, though. I loved the first one.

Well if i end up getting it, you are more than welcome to add me on steam. The first one was brilliant in coop, horrible in single player.

So pumped for Borderlands 2, loved the first, and this time i have friends to play co-op with. When the first came out, one friend was in Germany and none of my other friends bought it.

Also been playing Jet Set Radio for a bit already on PSN. Redeemed a free 30 day trial of PS Plus, and it came out a week early for plus members for $8.99. Its pretty awesome but i like JSRF more.

Borderlands is a bad game? Them's fightin' words!

But, alas, my backlog is so large I am not buying Borderlands 2 on launch. I am however getting Torchlight 2!

My brothers (the people i played Borderlands with) were just talking about getting Borderlands 2 and like shiiiiiiiiiit maybe I should get it. But I don't have much time for multiplayer games right now, and it will be even tougher to schedule play times. So I don't want to slow them down or fall behind.

So I'll probably skip it and just keep playing my backlog of singleplayer games.

I have a group of about 8 - 10 different people that I played Borderlands with on the 360, most of whom are picking up the second! Despite the downfalls of the game, it is mindless, challenging fun, especially when you're playing with friends. I think this one will be in the running for game of the year!
