After all these years, and growing up with Windows 3.1, I have seen an entire evolution of computers and software. Touch screens and large resolutions were a pipe dream just 15 years ago. Now it's the norm. Going from a Packard Bell (yes, before HP) that couldn't run 3D Ultra Mini...

New Video Games April 15th, 2013

Posted on Monday, April 15 @ 18:21:57 PST by

I'm going to be singing about how Batman smells and how Robin laid an egg in this week's biggest release, but before I can start on NetherRealm's new fighter, I've gotta finish unraveling the mystery behind this combination gun and computer. Here's the full list of new video games releasing this week:
  • God Mode (Xbox 360, PC) - April 19th, 2013
I'm quite a bit more excited for Injustice than I thought I would be, which has made the wait for a review copy excruciating. As of today, we haven't received ours so I'm ready to head out to a midnight launch near me. I'm headed straight for the story mode though. I realize that a major component of fighting games is the competitive play, but ever since NetherRealm released their reboot of Mortal Kombat, there's been a much bigger focus on single-player content in the genre.

And as I mentioned on GR Radio last week, I'm playing the wonderfully weird SMT: Devil Summoner - Soul Hackers on 3DS. I'll be taking it with me to the midnight launch and you can expect a review in the coming days. What are you buying this week?
