DAILY MANIFESTO

New Video Games January 6th-12th, 2013

Posted on Monday, January 7 @ 16:30:00 Eastern by

If you're looking for something on your Xbox 360, it's slim pickings this week. Luckily, it won't cost you much to buy everything on Microsoft's platform as Anarchy Reigns lands at only $30. And... what's this? A Vita game? Let's get to the list: I'm cutting it up in Anarchy Reigns right now, but I'm curious about Earth Defense Force 2017 for one key factor. It's on the VITA. That's all it takes to get my attention. I will literally play anything on the Vita. If Ubisoft published an extension of their Imagine Babyz games on the Vita.... I would play it.

Are you picking anything up this week?

Unfortunately nothing here for me. I'm still waiting for Aliens: Colonial Marines next month.

They do get repetitive, but I for one LOVE the Earth Defense Force series. If it's in small doses on the go with the Vita I think it should be a no-brainer.

I used to have EDF on 360, was fun and interesting but never played it too much. Would be kind of cool to have it on the Vita.

Looking for Vita games? Why don't you play Virtue's Last Reward? It's the second volume in the Zero Escape series (the first one is called 999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors), so you should play that as well in order to get the full experience. Be warned: it could mess your sleeping patterns pretty badly, but it's well worth it.

Competitive multiplayer and Platinum Games, both things I love. I have been hearing lackluster things about AR though - awaiting review.
