Finally Broke My Crowdfunding Rule
By oblivion437
Posted on 01/12/15
I've had a long-standing rule to avoid getting involved in any sort of crowdfunded activities.  I didn't donate to Shadowrun or Wasteland, but I did buy and enjoy both of them (I'm plugging both of those games right now, just so you know they're good).  I haven't...

DAILY MANIFESTO

New Video Games March 16th, 2014 - Infamous: Second Son, Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD, Metal Gear Solid V

Posted on Sunday, March 16 @ 12:00:00 Eastern by

Not as busy as last week, but with GDC it'll be tough to juggle every brand new video game release. Here's the full list:

Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster | PS3, PS Vita | Square Enix | March 18th, 2014 | $39.99

This HD upgrade for the PS2 classic brings Titus and Yuna on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita where they can be all romantic and emotional together. Blake Peterson posted our review last week.

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes | PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One | Kojima Productions | March 18th, 2014 | $29.99

This two-hour prologue gives gamers a taste of the open-world gameplay Hideo Kojima hopes will revolutionize his wargame series. Players can enjoy the story mission and then try a few challenging bonus missions. We'll post our review soon, but while you wait read up on the good, the bad, and the ugly of glorified demoes like Ground Zeroes.

Infamous: Second Son | PS4 | Sucker Punch | March 21st, 2014 | $59.99

Sucker Punch bring their open-world anti-hero series to the next-gen PlayStation 4 console, giving Sony fans an answer to Titanfall's Xbox One debut last week. We'll have our review of the game up soon, but until then check out this eight minute gameplay demo.

Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z | PS3, Xbox 360 | Tecmo Koei | March 18th, 2014 | $59.99

This stylish new take on Ninja Gaiden comes with bonus goodies. We're trying to get our hands on the game and will update with a review as soon as possible.

Hello Kitty Kruisers | Wii U | Bergsala Light Weight | March 18th, 2014 | $19.99

Megaton release on Wii U. Seriously, mind-blowing. No one will expect this game to sell 100 million consoles, but they'll learn. Oh, they'll all learn.

Ku: Shroud of the Morrigan | PC, Mac, Linux | March 17th, 2014

Alpha Kimori | PC | March 17th, 2014

LYNE | PC, Mac, Linux | Thomas Bowker | PC, Mac, Linux | March 17th, 2014

Deus Ex: The Fall | PC | Square Enix | March 18th, 2014 | $9.99

Danmaku Unlimited 2 | PC | March 18th, 2014

Luftrausers | PC, Mac, Linux | Vlambeer | March 18th, 2014 | $8.99 @ launch

We'll have a review of this inventive shooter indie from Vlambeer and Devolver Digital, the developer behind Ridiculous Fishing and the publisher behind Hotline Miami, respectively.

We're going to be at GDC all week long, so look for more reviews among our coverage from the conference floor and inside the biggest panels. GDC is the most insider-focused conference in gaming, so stick with GameRevolution all week.
