Finally Broke My Crowdfunding Rule
By oblivion437
Posted on 01/12/15
I've had a long-standing rule to avoid getting involved in any sort of crowdfunded activities.  I didn't donate to Shadowrun or Wasteland, but I did buy and enjoy both of them (I'm plugging both of those games right now, just so you know they're good).  I haven't...

DAILY MANIFESTO

New Video Games March 23rd, 2014 - Diablo III, Mercenary Kings, The Witch and the Hundred Knight

Posted on Sunday, March 23 @ 19:18:29 Eastern by

This week's list has quite a few interesting releases, but you'll be forgiven if you're still enjoying Infamous: Second Son and Titanfall on your next-gen consoles. If you've been following Diablo III's development, you'll certainly be excited for Reaper of Souls, out this week.
Diablo III: Reaper of Souls | PC, Mac | Blizzard | March 25th, 2014 | $39.99

This Reaper of Souls expansion brings the embattled loot-fest from Blizzard back to the forefront. The real money auction house is gone. Maybe now we can get back to the gameplay, but look out for our review soon.

BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma | PS3 | Aksys | March 25th, 2014 | $49.99

Another fighting entry in the BlazBlue franchise from Aksys lands on store shelves this week. Have you kept up with the story and mechanics? I haven't. Maybe fans will still have a fighting chance at enjoying everything Chrono Phantasma has to offer.

The Witch and the Hundred Knight | NIS America | PS3 | March 25th, 2014 | $49.99

While Kevin Schaller had a love-hate relationship with The Witch and the Hundred Knight in our review, fans of Japanese games will no doubt find something to love in the Swamp Witch's tale.

Deception IV: Blood Ties | Tecmo Koei | PS3, PS Vita | March 25th, 2014 | $59.99, $39.99

This PS3/PS Vita RPG doesn't come with cross buy, but it does come with some interesting gameplay mechanics whereby players set up traps to defeat intruders.

Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends | PS3 | Tecmo Koei | March 25th, 2014 | $39.99

If you need to play more Dynasty Warriors, no one is going to stop you. It doesn't matter whether anyone *should* stop you, the point is you can pick this up and go to town on tons of brainless soldiers if you so choose.

Cabelas: Big Game Hunter Pro Hunts | Xbox 360, PS3 | Activision | March 25th, 2014 | $29.99

Activision has another hunting game for those of you who have smartly decided not to go looking for a bear to shoot. The bear doesn't deserve it! He did nothing to you, but you wanna go ruin his fishing trip.

Cut The Rope: Triple Threat | 3DS | Activision | March 25th, 2014 | $29.99

The iOS hit makes its way to Nintendo 3DS via Activision's port department, not unlike Angry Birds before it.
