Not even the power of Neil Gaiman and The Odd Gentlemen could save this game from a fate worse than death: a terrible score.

For Obsidian's crowdfunded love letter to Infinity Engine games like Icewind Dale and Baldur's Gate, I was impressed by its willingness to pull back the curtain and let me see the machinery behind it.

Yesterday, while cleaning up my media center, I found my copy of Ratchet & Clank: Into The Nexus, which I bought sometime before Christmas last year. I had been pretty excited about this game pre-release, what with it being the first "traditional", albeit shorter than usual,...

DAILY MANIFESTO

New Video Games May 12th - May 18th, 2013

Posted on Monday, May 13 @ 17:14:00 Eastern by

Since I write this post every week, I have the honor of bestowing one game with our "pick of the week" designation. What does this mean? Nothing. It's title-only and there is no money involved. Honestly sometimes I forget to pick a game.
What did I tell you about all the shooting? Regardless, I'm gonna go with Metro: Last Light for GR's pick of the week. It's got gorgeous visuals, a whole lot of excellent shooting and stealth mechanics, and naked women if that's what you're in to.

I've got a restraining order for Revengeance and Dust 514 hasn't impressed me in beta. My guess is that CCP will see a slight bump in players thanks to Dust's retail release, but most PlayStation gamers are waiting patiently for The Last of Us. Is anyone reading GameRevolution still playing Black Ops II and are you still buying each DLC pack? Let me know in the comments.

If you're a curious gamer like me, you might want to check out The Starship Damrey, the first in Level-5's Guild02 series of downloadable games for Nintendo 3DS. I'm hoping to get my hands on it this week, as Aeroporter and Liberation Maiden helped to turn me on to the eShop in the first place. What are you buying this week?
