No Hope For The Last Guardian

Posted on Tuesday, June 11 @ 09:28:15 PST by

My heart can take no more.

Among all the casualities from Sony's press conference yesterdayMicrosoft includedThe Last Guardian was the most silent. Shall it never be spoken again in any seriousness ever again. Leave it for comments and Reddit memes.

E3 was the last chance for the title to rear its endangered head from the quicksand of its own making. Its best shot at a last-minute rescue would have been Sony showing a trailer on stage and then revealing that it would be a PlayStation 4 launch title. But that didn't happen.

So I believe it's in the best interest of everyone on the Internet to kill all hope for The Last Guardian. Take it out on a leash and smash its head with a PlayStation 3. If your hope has already died, dig it up from the graveyard and make sure it's dead. (Along with Star Wars 1313.)

Even if Sony says it will be shown at PAX, I will say it's a lie. Then if it's actually shown, I will say it doesn't exist. Then if you dangle the actual game inside the box in front of my face, I will grab it, burn it, and plead temporary insanity.
