FEATURED VOXPOP oblivion437 Update: I was unfortunately not aware of Shamus Young's severe criticism of Fallout 3 available here to link in the original piece and I regret that.  It dovetails rather nicely with what I've written and it's much better executed than my piece.  I strongly recommend anyone...

DAILY MANIFESTO

On A Lighter Note

Posted on Friday, May 18 @ 21:56:51 PST by Duke_Ferris
It seems like every time I write a Manifesto, I'm angry about someone or something, and must point out their stupidity. So today when a couple things made me LOL, I decided to share.

The creativity of gamers never ceases to amaze me. Who else would think of putting Chuck Norris into Oblivion, or turning GTA into a zombie survival game? But this pic of a HeMan player in World of Warcraft was just too awesome. He even has BattleCat and a little buddy Orko (Oric Coe). Click to embiggen. Too funny.

But I really love this unintentionally funny article in the business section of the London Times "Lara Croft to make Wii debut"

I just love the quote from the publisher, who says that the Wii controller will "allow Wii gamers to control Lara in brand new, unique ways."

Oh, really? I knew the Wiimote vibrated for a reason.
