Woah... just, whoa! Is it really only 23 days until E3 2011? Pre-E3 events are cropping up everywhere. We're getting registered for the big press conferences and preparing liveblogging services to bring the the hot news straight to your eye-holes... balls... whatever! Everyday we inch closer to the biggest conference in gaming is another day where some hot piece of news might spoil a big reveal. That's why if you've missed a day of video gaming news, you've got to catch up! That's why Out of the Compound is here to wrap everything up nicely for you. Sound like you know what you're talking about around the watercooler by catching up with these headlines:

Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater will be sneaking onto the 3DS in November. Will we be going hands-on with the 3Drd MGS game at E3? Betchur' slitherin' ass we will!

ActiBlizz assured investors that they'd make enough Call of Duties, Diabloes, and Spyros for each of them to buy a new pair of crocodile boots.

Everyone wants to see Kratos return. Sony will want to deliver games-games-games at E3 after the PSN outage. Will God of War 4 be in the fold?

Retailers did their best to push PS3s out the door during the outage. If the prices stay low, the PS3 might get a price cut at E3.

Game Revolution's Josh Laddin asked the hard question about Star Wars: The Old Republic's game design. All of those answers are here well before the E3 masses get their hands on the Bioware developers behind the MMO.

Square Enix snuck up behind gamers everywhere and garroted them with the news that Hitman: Revolution was on its way from IO Interactive. A teaser trailer made it official.

You might be returning to Bright Falls in some form or another so stock up on Energizer batters before the follow up to Alan Wake is released. Microsoft will probably be hitting on Remedy's semi-sequel during their press conference.

The E3 floor plans were revealed this week. The fanboys can now begin to plan their day-1 rush to Nintendo booth for some time with Zelda: Skyward Sword and Project Cafe.

Namco Bandai decided the best place to announce Soul Calibur V was in Dubai. I don't think you could say that Arab countries were very fond of some of the female combatants attire.

Modern Warfare 3's box art was leaked ahead of the game's announcement... along with... everything... and I mean everything else.

New details about the Nintendo 3DS eShop were confirmed. An American launch was scheduled for June 6th, the day of Nintendo's big E3 press conference.

Namco let loose that they hadn't yet started development on Tekken X Street Fighter, but Capcom's counterpart of the fighting-genre ~~wet dream~~ crossover delivered more gameplay footage.

Star Fox 64 is barrel rolling into its 3DS remake without online multiplayer. That means we'll be going hands-on at E3 with the game's adhoc multiplayer instead.

Starhawk, exclusive to the PS3, was announced officially. Game Revolution will have impressions for you at E3 after we blast off and build our way to victory.

With Project Cafe on the way, it's about time to bury the Wii, right? Nintendo told us to hold our horses because they've got some new software for the Wii. Hopefully they'll be more convincing at E3.

I'm more inclined to believe that the Wii has something of value coming to it more than this "leaked" list of Project Cafe games. Absurdity doesn't begin to describe these fanboy delusions.

When I was younger I thought I'd grow out of this stuff... BUT I AM SO EXCITED OMGOMGOMG.

Here's hoping project cafe is some kind of brain implant.
