P4G: Review Log 04: You Begin To Suspect That Your Bowl Is A Portal To The Meat Dimension

One aspect I've become very fond of in Persona 4: Golden is that players will find themselves encouraged to spend time outside of the TV world, outside of the game's primary combat loop. There's so much to do, so many social links to explore, and an increased number of stats to raise throughout your year in Inaba.

Instead of just Academics, Charm, and Courage as it was in Persona 3, Persona 4 tweaks the balance and offers five different areas of personal improvement. You'll have to grind your Courage, Diligence, Understanding, Expression, and Knowledge up to experience everything Inaba has to offer.

I've been focusing my efforts on Knowledge, Courage, and Expression, with Diligence and Understanding relegated to my part-time job. Of course, much of my planning has gone out the window as I've decided to roll the dice on these stats more often than not.

Don't forget to head to Aiya on rainy days. Three of your stats will get a huge boost in the form of the Aiya Rainy Day Special Mega Beef Bowl. As much as I'd like to leave things up to chance, I also bought a few books to make the grind a bit easier.
