I'm sure there are plenty of PC Master Race folks who would take issue with their platform being represented by a pre-built Alienware box :P

Did both of those come out at around $600 retail? Maybe they do have some things in common.

I don't have an issue with console games in general. What i do have an issue with ARE THE SHITTY ASS PORTS THAT COME TO PC FROM CONSOLES. Seriously they developers put almost no effort into making the games work right on PC anymore. And yet they charges us just as much money for the PC to not work right ever. Any other argument aside my game should work just as well as anyone elses for the price i pay and it hardly ever does anymore.

Also consoles are holding games back graphically in major ways.

I could go into a long list of examples buuuut all i have to do is point to battlefield 3 cranked up to full Dx11 glory and just say this. THIS IS WHAT WE COULD ALL HAVE if consoles went so far behind the times always.

The folks at BF3 make me jump for joy.

The people giving us batman Arkhum city also make me hug them tightly because they do give a great console game and then they turn around and add in all the bells and whistles for us pc folks. Physx and dx 11 support.

The fact the next generation of consoles will most likely all be more expensive than a pc must anger/scare some gamers.

On average for the price of a console you can build a PC with more power and uses then the said console. Well at least for the 299.99 and even now the 249.99 price tags of the ps3 and xbox. The wii at 150 is well... id have to hunt around but i probably could hold true to my statement still heh.

In the end my gripe is still the most valid one. Consoles hold back how good games could be because of outdated tech by the time they even launch its already usually a year or two behind current tech and then with the 6 year lifespan? it just holds everything back. Consoles have completed skipped out on Dx 10 and we are in Dx 11 land now with 12 right around the corner soon.

Meh, as someone with not only a 360 and PS3, but also a fairly powerful PC, I really don't get what the whole deal is. I pick my platform based on cost of software more often than not.

You know... except for the first panel, every jokes there can pretty much be applied to PC and console gamers...
But then, dueling analog haven't done any good jokes in 4 years so...
