Pedobear Approves Japanese Devs Keeping Stereotypes Alive

Posted on Saturday, October 22 @ 04:05:51 Eastern by Heath_Hindman
Honestly you probably deserve to die if you purchase this knowing what it is

Adhering too closely to stereotypes isn't just politically incorrect, it's usually rude and just plain wrong. But lately, it seems like every time I defend America to the Japanese, my countrymen end up on TV doing something retarded. Then in the reverse, I defend soomething about Japan to my family, only for D3 Publisher to come along and add DLC to Dream Club called "Preschool Outfit".

Yeah, a game in which players control a girl trying to sing and act sexy for businessmen has a DLC pack centered around making girls look like preschoolers. Thanks, D3, for always being the counterpoint to any progress we try and make here in Japan.

If I were a prosecution lawyer, one of the first things I'd want to find out about any male opponent would be if he ever bought any Dream Club games, and then I'd present this shit to the jury. At least with the sexy Catherine ads, it was a mature game marketing an of-age woman to a mature audience, but this is pretty effing blatant. It's got a giveaway name and features underwear with what looks like Pedobear. The sad thing is, I'm not sure if that's a joke or just a creepy coincidence.

I don't think this is right. I also don't think it is right that people dress their little girls like that in real life.
