After all these years, and growing up with Windows 3.1, I have seen an entire evolution of computers and software. Touch screens and large resolutions were a pipe dream just 15 years ago. Now it's the norm. Going from a Packard Bell (yes, before HP) that couldn't run 3D Ultra Mini...

Postcards From The Edge

The headache was there, as predicted. The problem here is that it never gets dark, and you have no indicator of how long you've been drinking. And by problem, I mean bonus.

Still it was a long day of EVE, geysers, a giant waterfall, lobster and more drinking. It's three minutes after midnight and its like day outside. These people must repair their livers during the long, dark winter months. Do not believe their lies.

The rest of this post is for the EVE players. If you don't play, try the free trial because it's the most brutally Darwinian game there is. Suck it, creationists.

I still cant upload images from here, but i have a  synopsis of what i learned about upcoming changes:

There will be a whole separate graphically advanced client for Windows Vista. It will play exactly the same and on the same server, but will look very cool. Titans and Motherships will be vulnerable to interdictor bubbles (!). Stealth bomber bombs will not work in Empire space. Carriers will get a "triage mode", a bit like siege mode, but it instead enhances the remote boosting and repairing abilities.

I also learned an inside joke which is useless but will be funnier once I have access to the office scanner.
