Release Your Rock Star

Posted on Thursday, March 27 @ 15:05:27 Eastern by Duke_Ferris
Apparently this is what you get when you combine American Idol with Guitar Hero: crazy people coming out of  the woodwork.

Guitar Hero is having a rocking out contest and the winner will actually be a character in the next Guitar Hero game. It appears to be running out of Europe, but I don't see anything in the rules that says U.S. folks can't enter. [http://www.releaseyourrockstar.com]

To enter, you need to video yourself rocking out, and upload it to their site. If you also put it on Youtube and send me a link, I'll put it on GR as well, and if you actually win, we'll beef up your prize package by sending you an extra Guitar Hero guitar signed by the GR staff.

Speaking of winning, GR is looking for a new GRandmaster to head up the community. Read about it here.
