For Obsidian's crowdfunded love letter to Infinity Engine games like Icewind Dale and Baldur's Gate, I was impressed by its willingness to pull back the curtain and let me see the machinery behind it.

Rumor: 3DS Lands in UK on March 18, Priced at £249

Posted on Wednesday, January 12 @ 14:22:14 Eastern by

Official Nintendo 3DS details are just around the corner, but folks in the video game industry don't like to wait.

Apparently, retailers are just as impatient. UK retailers The Hut, Best Buy, Woolworths, and WHSmith have opened their doors to all that sweet preorder money the 3DS is sure to draw, despite Nintendo withholding official dates and price-points for Western markets back.

We've been expecting to get the full breadth of 3DS information from Nintendo of America on January 19th, but retailers are hoping to get all of that Christmas cash in their hands before then.

While you wait for Reggie to confirm all of your hopes and fears on the 19th, you can read up on the scoops out of Japan's Nintendo World event here, here, and here.
