After all these years, and growing up with Windows 3.1, I have seen an entire evolution of computers and software. Touch screens and large resolutions were a pipe dream just 15 years ago. Now it's the norm. Going from a Packard Bell (yes, before HP) that couldn't run 3D Ultra Mini...

Should Guile's Theme Be The American Anthem?!

Posted on Thursday, February 6 @ 12:40:38 PST by

A petition to the White House, and specifically to the Obama Administration, created by a user with the initials "E.L." has been made to change the national anthem to Guile's theme from Street Fighter II:
America is the best in the world at what it does and what it does is kick ass and something about freedoms.

America needs an anthem that reflects this, a song that tells the world we aren't playing around. When the world hears that music hit, the world knows a bunch of family men are coming to layeth the smacketh down on some candy asses.

From baseball games to the State of the Union address, Guile's theme really goes with everyone, especially America.
So far, only 40 people have signed the petition, and I don't think the government would ever choose to change the "Star-Spangled Banner" to a theme song made by two Japanese composers, Yoko Shimomura and Isao Abe... as awesome as that would be.
