Skyrim's Theme Performed on Piano and Violin

Posted on Tuesday, November 22 @ 13:12:42 Eastern by

Remember back when Anthony posted the videos of people playing the Metal Gear Solid 2 theme on Violin? Remember how pervy he was when he did it? I'm going to take the high road and post this video without all the innuendo and disgusting-ness. That's right, Anthony! Let's appreciate the video above for the music! Besides... the one girl kind of looks like a boy at certain angles.

Didn't even realize that these were the same two people as last time....

I thought it was just a general Elder Scrolls theme. They just made it more chanty for skyrim or something.

It starts out as Morrowind's theme, then at 1:44 it goes into Skyrim mode.

It was introduced in Morrowind, remixed to a faster, more "Epic Trailer Music" version for Oblivion (it was the title screen theme), then remixed again all chanty and Nordic for Skyrim.

While we're talking about the various forms of orchestrated game music, I gotta say the symphony CD that came with the limited edition Zelda: Skyward Sword bundle is amazing.
